I watched The Daily Show last night. They did a story from Canada on corn based ethanol as a fuel replacement. They interviewed one "pro" guy, and one "con" guy. The "con" guy said;

"Ethanol is just welfare for farmers."

He's right. It's better to support Saudi Arabian multimillionairs rather than exploring an opportunity to create a renewable fuel source that also happens to create jobs and keep massive amounts of money in our own countries. I can't believe I even CONSIDERED an alternative fuel source that would help the environment and could have possibly undercut financing for those who support attacks against Israel and America.

Boy do I feel stupid.

Someone please tell me that guy was a plant and that was part of the comedy. 'cause if it's a joke, I may not get it but it doesn't scare me as much as if he were serious.
